PROJECT ARCHITECT
Humphreys and Partners Architects, L.P. Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Architect with experience in producing architectural drawings and overseeing multi-family, or similar high-rise projects. The Project Architect will manage the day to day production of multiple projects and team operations.

Candidates must have excellent graphic, written and verbal communication skills and possess a strong desire to excel and lead in a fast paced, challenging and client-focused environment. Job Responsibilities:
•­­ Document code review and compliance
•­­ Communicate and coordinate with management, clients, consultants and contractors related to daily business operations
•­­ Ensure accurate preparation of project construction documents and communication with and coordination of the preparation of documents with consultants, contractors and team members
•­­ Visits with city officials and clients as necessary
•­­ Review shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance
•­­ Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines

Basic Qualifications:
•­­ Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or in a related field (construction or engineering)
•­­ 8+ years of experience
•­­ MUST be a licensed Architect
•­­ MUST have professional experience in multi-family or similar high-rise architectural projects
•­­ MUST have experience with unit and floor plan designs
•­­ Proven proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint and other software programs
•­­ Ability to use AutoCAD and Revit are a must
•­­ Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
•­­ Excellent clear and concise written and verbal communication
•­­ Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors
•­­ Ability to follow-up in a timely manner
•­­ Positive attitude and driven to succeed
•­­ Travel required, approximately 10%

PROJECT COORDINATOR

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our Production Team in our Orlando, FL office. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing one or more projects from Design Development to the Construction Administration phase and will report to the Project Manager. This candidate will interface directly with the consultants, contractors, team members and architects.

Responsibilities:
•­­ Coordinate the completion of design and construction contract documents under the supervision of the Project Manager
•­­ Research applicable codes and ordinances for assigned projects
•­­ Collaborate with project team members to ensure contract documents are complete and accurate
•­­ Lead project team coordination meetings and serve as the primary communicator with the client and consultants
•­­ Manage construction administration duties, such as requests for information and submittals

Qualifications:
•­­ Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
•­­ 8+ years of experience
•­­ Multifamily experience is a must
•­­ Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
•­­ Basic understanding of concrete and/or wood-frame construction
•­­ Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a moderate level of supervision
•­­ Strong written and verbal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
•­­ Master’s degree in architecture
•­­ On the path to licensure preferred
•­­ Prior experience with Newforma desirable

ENTRY-LEVEL ARCHITECT

We are looking for an ambitious, talented and self-motivated individual to join the Ervin Lovett Miller team in an entry-level architectural position. The individual will be working as part of a collegial, multidisciplinary team, providing creative design and technical document execution for clients requiring the firm’s exceptional professional service and holistic perspective for a variety of interesting projects in unique locations at multiple scales.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

2-3 years minimum professional experience.

The successful candidate will have a professional degree in architecture.

This position requires:
• The ability to excel in architectural design and production assignments as part of a multidisciplinary team serving discerning client groups. Work may range from programming and conceptual design to technical detailing, construction document production, and construction administration
• A positive collegial attitude, strong organizational ability, and effective communication skills for use in an open and interactive design team environment
• Experience working successfully together with teams
of subconsultants
• A working understanding of all project phases, from conceptual design through construction
• Technical proficiency in Revit; fluency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and In-Design
• Communication skills through hand-drawing and refined writing abilities.
